One week down, 51 more to go. I'm afraid this is the first of what could be many "cheap shots" meaning not much thought or work went into it. I didn't get a chance at lunch to go on a walk and took this quick snap shot of the Bug just to fulfill my picture a day quota. While it's not altogether bad, I feel like I cheated. This picture is the equivalent of being on a diet and saying I was good all week so I can eat a whole pizza and wash it down with a few six beers. Speaking of which, it's Friday and 5 O'clock somewhere....

Project 365 - Day 6
This cracks me up...
Now, I don't generally find vandalism or graffiti funny, but in this instance I do. Mook's "work" could be seen all around Pittsburgh in the late 90's an early 2000's but most of it has been cleaned up. So he decided to make it harder to clean up and almost 10 years later, no one has dared climb to the top of the 10th street bridge to get rid of this one. In the picture in the link above Mook's tag is the only one visible. A few others have added their tags, but Mook was the original.

Project 365 - Day 5
I took a walk at lunch today and at the very last minute settled on the object below. I spent 25 minutes walking around looking for something to shoot and this was a minute from my building. While I was packing my camera up after taking the picture I wasn't all that happy with it. A few minutes in Photoshop helped it out a lot I think.

Project 365 - Day 3
Hard to believe a couple days ago it was pushing 60 degrees. Saw this frost on the glass of a storm door and thought the crystals would make a nice picture. Should have used my 300mm macro zoom but I was in a hurry... and I'm off today. I sure hope I can keep this up once I return to work.

Project 365 - Day 2
It's only day two and already a pattern has developed... Day #2 features my second most photographed subject, Josie. This is actually one of very few feet pictures I have taken of her though. Josie's after nap mission is to see how many articles of clothing she can remove before we come to get her. On this day she was down to her onesie and a diaper. I brought her and her jeans and socks down from her room and into the living room. Miss Independent likes to try to dress herself after removing these items and decided one sock was going to be enough for the day. I ran and got my camera and below is what I got.

Project 365 - Day 1
For the past couple years I have wanted to attempt to take (at least) a photo a day for a year. I get into ruts when I don't pick my camera up for weeks at a time and I'm hoping this project will lead to some great photos and also challenge me to search and find something photo worthy each day.
For photo #1, I went with my #1 subject thus far in my photographic life, Julianna.
